DeepHealth project innovations analyzed by the European Commission’s Innovation Radar

We are honored that DeepHealth project has attracted the interest of the EC Innovation Radar. More specifically, two innovations developed in the DeepHealth project have been analyzed by the European Commission’s Innovation Radar, and categorized as “Exploring” technology, in terms of actively exploring value creation opportunities, that “address the needs of existing markets / existing customers” (https://www.innoradar.eu/resultbykeyword/DeepHealth).

These are the core libraries developed in the DeepHealth project, i.e.,:

  • The ECVL (European Computer Vision Library), an image processing software stack that supports most common image formats (medical & non-medical) and whole-slide images, https://www.innoradar.eu/innovation/38609, mainly developed and supported (Key Innovators) by UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI MODENA E REGGIO EMILIA (UNIMORE), EVERIS SPAIN SL and UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI TORINO (UNITO); and
  • The EDDLL (European Distributed Deep Learning Library) an open-source library for Distributed Deep Learning and Tensor Operations, https://www.innoradar.eu/innovation/38606, mainly developed and supported (Key Innovators) by UNIVERSITAT POLITECNICA DE VALENCIA (UPV) and CENTRO DI RICERCA, SVILUPPO E STUDI SUPERIORI IN SARDEGNA SOCIETÀ A RESPONSABILITÀ LIMITATA (CRS4).
