DeepHealth has participated in the 11th Conference of the European Research and Innovation Framework Program in Spain, organized by the Spanish organism CDTI in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the European Commission, held on 6 April in Valencia (Spain) and focused this year on the new research and innovation program Horizon Europe.
DeepHealth was selected to take part in the poster exhibition, devoted to show projects coordinated by Spanish entities that have received funding from Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020. NTT Data Spain, as coordinator of the project exhibit a poster presenting an overview of the project: its objectives, main developments and results, the use cases in three different health areas implemented to validate its approach and the expected impact in for IT experts, the health sector and the overall society.
More than 1,300 attendees discovered the opportunities of the Horizon Europe program and could get information about European projects coordinated by Spanish entities. The opening session was led by the General Director of Research and Innovation from the European Comision, Jean-Eric Paquet, and the Spanish Minister of Science and Innovation Diana Morant, among others political personalities.
The conference had different panel sessions to discuss about topics related to Horizon Europe. Among them, panellists talked about some programme novelties, different participation strategies and they also gave advice about how to submit better proposals. In parallel, areas for particular consultancy with National Contact Points and bilateral meetings were also set up-to promote networking among the attendees.
Having DeepHealth in this conference gave us the opportunity to make the project and its partners more visible to the public, since many people approached the poster showing their interest.
